About the Africell Art Collection

Did you know that Africell has a permanent art collection?

Africell supports contemporary visual artists in our operating markets and across Africa. We create platforms for displaying and publicising works, connect artists to international galleries and collectors, and facilitate travel, research and networking within Africa (e.g. through the Africell x Angola AIR residency project). Our permanent collection is proudly displayed in Africell offices in Angola, DRC, Gambia and Sierra Leone and is designed to reflect the extraordinary creativity and dynamism of the regions we operate it.
